There are a few common reasons why you may not have received the confirmation email:

  • The confirmation email may have been delivered to your Junk or Spam folder. Check your Junk or Spam folder to see if the confirmation email from no-reply@ontariosoilcrop.org has been incorrectly marked as junk. If the confirmation email landed in your Junk or Spam folder, you will need to move the email to your inbox before the confirmation link can be clicked on.
  • The email address that you used to create your account is not valid. In creating a user account, ensure that your information is accurate and valid. You can request for the confirmation email to be resent to you by going to osciaportal.org, and log in using your email and password you used to create the account. If your account has not already been confirmed, you will be given the option to resend the confirmation email.

To ensure you receive a confirmation email, add no-reply@ontariosoilcrop.org to your acceptable/safe senders list.

After following the above steps, if you still do not receive a confirmation email, contact us at portalsupport@ontariosoilcrop.org for further assistance.

The OSCIA Portal was recently updated to allow registration for workshops like the Environmental Farm Plan. As part of the system update, previous users will be prompted to reset their password when they login. You will only need to do this once.

If you applied to the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) using a PDF application form sent to OSCIA by email or post, while you have not created a user account, your email address is tied to an existing OFCAF enrolment and application submission. Using the same email address that was indicated on the previous OFCAF application will result in a prompt from osciaportal.org to reset your password for that email address.

If you create an account using a different email address than what was used on your previous OFCAF application submission, you will not be able to create a new enrolment. A farm business enrolment in osciaportal.org must be unique. If you try to create an enrolment for a farm business that is already enrolled, you will receive a notification that your FBRN and legal business name are already in use, and you will not be able to complete the enrolment process.

If you are getting notification that your email address is already in use, but you have not created a user account in osciaportal.org or you did not apply to OFCAF, please contact us at portalsupport@ontariosoilcrop.org for further assistance.

The first step is to 'Create an Account' from the osciaportal.org homepage using the same email address that you applied with under a previous OFCAF intake. If you create an account using a different email address than what was used on your previous application submission, you will not be able to create a new enrolment. If you create a user account with a different email address and/or you are having difficulty creating a new enrolment for a farm business that you do not believe is previously enrolled, please contact us at portalsupport@ontariosoilcrop.org.

There are a few reasons this may be happening.

  • If you have not previously created an account on osciaportal.org, you will need to Create an Account from the left side of the homepage.
  • osciaportal.org is separate from OntarioPrograms.net, the portal used for the Canadian Agricultural Partnership and LEADS programs and past workshop registrations, and also separate from the OSCIA membership platform. You cannot use login information from one of these other platforms to login to osciaportal.org.
  • If you have forgotten your password, see below for How do I reset my password?

You can request for the confirmation email to be resent to you by going to osciaportal.org, and entering in your email and password you used to create the account, under the Log In window. If your account has not already been confirmed, you will be given the option to resend the confirmation email. The link given in the confirmation email must be clicked within 24 hours of the email being sent, or the link will expire.

  • Click on the Forgot Password ➔ link on the osciaportal.org homepage under Existing User Login.
  • Enter your email address and click on the Reset Password.
  • You will receive a confirmation email from no-reply@ontariosoilcrop.org. Click on the link within that email within 24 hours and follow the steps to complete your password reset.

No, information you previously provided and user accounts set up in ontarioprograms.net specific to the Canadian Agricultural Partnership or Growing Forward 2 programs or workshops, are not transferred to osciaportal.org. If you have not created an account on osciaportal.org, you will need to create a new account.

Yes, you can. To change the login email*:

  1. Login to osciaportal.org with the email address and password that was used to create the account.
  2. On the Dashboard screen, click on your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select My Profile from the drop-down menu.
  3. Under Account Settings on the left side of the screen, click on Email. Enter the new email and click on Change Email.

*Note that the user who creates the account for the purpose of submitting enrolments and/or applications must be legally able to bind that farm business to the terms and conditions of the program for which they are applying to. If you are unable to access the original email account, please contact us at portalsupport@ontariosoilcrop.org for further assistance.

The person named as the account holder under My Profile must be legally able to bind the farm business to the terms and conditions of the program to which they are applying. The account holder’s first and last name will be synced to the farm business’s enrolment information and this name will be shown as a Legal Signing Authority on any cost-share applications.

To change the contact information, including the first name, last name, and phone number of the account holder:

  1. Login to osciaportal.org with the email address and password that was used to create the account.
  2. On the Dashboard screen, click on your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select My Profile from the drop-down menu.
  3. Under Account Settings on the left side of the screen, click on Profile. In the Update Profile window you can update the First Name, Last Name and Phone Number for your account and then click Save.

Yes, you can. To change your password:

  1. Login to osciaportal.org with the email address and password that was used to create the account.
  2. On the Dashboard screen, click on your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select My Profile from the drop-down menu.
  3. Under My Profile on the left side of the screen, click on Password. Enter your current password, the new password, and confirm your new password.
